Callie was rescued off the streets of La Paz, Mexico as a tiny puppy, she was born in late 1999. My then flyball team was doing a flyball demo at a dog event and the Baja Rescue was there with this tiny little brown puppy, everyone said I had to have her, and one of my teammates rolled a tiny little tennis ball past her and the brown speck of a pup pounced on it and picked it up. The rest is history! Callie is a delightful little dog with a very soft and sweet nature. She was raised as a flyball dog and was a reliable team dog for 6 years, she is now retired from the sport of flyball and semi retired in agility. she retires on the team Turn N Spit and Callie thanks them for allowing her to run. She continues to lead an active and full life with lots of hiking in the hills, running in the groves looking for critters and the occasional dabble in agility, she loves to lay feet first on the couch and tell her brothers just who continues to be the boss.
