Slick is by Del Cielo Silk and out of my 1st horse, her name was NC Sweet Honesty. Honesty and I spent many hours riding the hills of San Diego, I started showing her in 1986 and it was at a horseshow when I saw Silk for the first time and met him and Carolyn. Honesty went on to win many championships and regional top 5's in hunter pleasure as well as Scottsdale Top 10. I bred her to Silk in 1990 and Slick was born the following year. Honesty died in 1999 at the age of 19 years old, she was and probably always will be the most influencial animal I have had in my life. Slick reminds me so much of her and we have had a wonderful life together, showing in hunter pleasure, dressage and halter, he also was his breed representative at the San Diego County Fair. He is an awesome trailhorse and like his mother, loves to teampen and work cattle! Slick has been with me through thick and thin and I could not imagine life without him. Slick is now the last of the original Del Cielo Arabians, He is his father's son, his grandmother's grandson and his mother's son all rolled into one very special horse.
